Philip Hampson “Buck” Knight (Feb 24, 1938) is an American businessman and a philosophist

He is the co-founder and current chairman of Nike, Inc

Started as a business major student and an athletic of the University of Oregon. Phil Knight found his fortune as a distributor of a shoe company in Japan: Onitsuka Tiger. Later on, he and his former coach, Bill Bowerman, started their own shoe company with Bowerman as the main designer. That company is well known today under the name, Nike.
